"Finally finished this behemoth of a book! The Count of Monte Cristo is definitely a must read classic, a revenge story that is very straight forward but at the same time enjoyable to read. The book can feel unnecessarily longer than it should be, but that should be expected since it was originally published as a weekly serial in a newspaper. Overall a solid book, that I finally read after hearing so much about it."

"This book reminded me of my interest in reading classical fantasy. Really loved the prose and the writing of Robin Hobb. The characters were pretty well written and even though the plot pace might feel slow to some people, it felt like living in that world through Fitz's eyes to me. And the good thing is that there is so much of the Realm of the Elderlings left to explore!"
